Accessibility Statement
Effective Date: January 1, 2025 | Last Updated: July 10, 2026
Summary: KIALS is committed to making our platform usable by everyone. We design to WCAG 2.1 Level AA, test with assistive technologies, and welcome your feedback. If something isn't working for you, email support@kials.com and we'll help.
1. Our Commitment
Know-It-All Learning Systems (KIALS) is committed to digital accessibility in accordance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. We strive to ensure the KIALS platform is usable by people of all abilities, including those who rely on assistive technologies.
2. Conformance Status
The KIALS platform is designed to be substantially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. "Substantially conformant" means most of the platform meets the standard, though some content may not yet fully conform. We treat accessibility as ongoing work and continue to improve. For U.S. public-sector and government users, we also work toward alignment with Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act, which incorporates the WCAG success criteria. Most recent accessibility review: April 1, 2026.
3. Measures We Take
- Semantic HTML structure and descriptive headings;
- Keyboard navigation and visible focus states, including a "skip to main content" link;
- ARIA labels and roles on interactive components;
- Color contrast intended to meet AA thresholds;
- Text alternatives for meaningful images;
- Responsive layouts that adapt to zoom and smaller screens.
4. Compatibility
The platform is designed to work with current versions of major browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge) and common screen readers (NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver). If you use older technology, some features may be limited. We test with current assistive technologies, including NVDA and JAWS on Windows and VoiceOver on macOS and iOS.
5. Known Limitations
Despite our efforts, some limitations may remain. In particular, study questions are generated by AI from content you upload, and the formatting or phrasing of generated items may vary. We are actively working to improve the accessibility of generated content. If you encounter a barrier, please tell us so we can prioritize a fix or provide an alternative.
6. Feedback & Requesting Accommodations
We welcome your feedback. If you experience an accessibility barrier or need an accommodation or an alternate format, contact us at support@kials.com. We aim to respond and provide access or an alternate format within 5 business days.
