1. Our Approach
Know-It-All Learning Systems (KIALS) treats the security of your account and your uploaded content as a core responsibility. This overview describes the safeguards we maintain. It is a summary, not a warranty; see our Terms of Service for the governing terms.
2. Encryption
We use industry-standard Transport Layer Security (TLS) to protect data in transit between your device and our servers, and we encrypt sensitive data at rest. KIALS is hosted in the United States using reputable cloud-infrastructure providers.
3. Access Controls
Access to personal data is restricted to staff who need it to operate the service, on a least-privilege basis. Account passwords are stored only as salted hashes - we never see or store your plain-text password. Personnel who handle personal data receive security-awareness training, and access is reviewed periodically.
4. Payment Security
Payments are processed by a third-party payment processor. We do not store complete credit card numbers on our servers.
5. Data Retention & Deletion
We retain account data while your account is active and delete or anonymize personal data after account deletion, subject to legal retention requirements. You can delete individual study programs from your dashboard at any time. See our Privacy Policy for details.
6. Incident Response
We maintain incident-response procedures and will notify affected users of data breaches as required by applicable law. We also maintain regular encrypted backups to support recovery and continuity.
7. Responsible Disclosure
If you are a security researcher and believe you have found a vulnerability, please report it to support@kials.com with enough detail to reproduce the issue. Please give us a reasonable opportunity to remediate before any public disclosure. We appreciate good-faith research and will not pursue action against researchers who act responsibly and avoid privacy violations or service disruption.
